Thank you for considering SPIDI and our training courses. We are committed to protecting your personal rights and to treating any personal information with the utmost care and confidentiality. We handle and store any personal information gathered when you visit our websites in accordance with the current statutory provisions pertaining to the protection of personal data under the applicable General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The following gives an overview of what happens to your personal information when you visit our website. Personal information is any data with which you could be personally identified. Detailed information on the subject of data protection can be found in our privacy policy found below:

If you use this website, various pieces of personal data will be collected. Some data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These data are primarily technical data such as the browser and operating system you are using or when you accessed the page. These data are collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

Some  personal data are collected when you provide it to us. This could, for example, be data you enter on a contact form.

Please note that data transmitted via the internet (e.g. via email communication) may be subject to security breaches. Complete protection of your data from third-party access is not possible.

 

online registration for OESd-Tests

For the purpose of registration and processing of ÖSD tests we need the completition of a specific contact form. The following data must be made available here: first name, family name, email address, gender, date of birth, country of origin, citizenship, social insurance number, ÖSD language level, street, house number, postal code and city.

This information is used to facilitate the registration and management (eg: billing) of the ÖSD test as needed. Any further information you may voluntarily provide to us, e.g. in case of problems and queries to make contact with you easier.

A contract data processing contract was concluded with the Verein Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD). The stored data will only be used for our own purposes in terms of event organization, processing and information and will not be passed on to third parties.

 

CONTACT Form

Should you send us questions via the contact form, we will collect the data entered on the form, including the contact details you provide, to answer your question and any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your permission.

We will, therefore, process any data you enter onto the contact form only with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) DSGVO. You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal email making this request is sufficient. The data processed before we receive your request may still be legally processed.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.

We record your visit to our webpages automatically in a log file. In doing so, the following data is processed:

  • the browser type and version
  • the operating system used by you
  • the referrer URL (the previously visited website)
  • the time of access

This is necessary in order to ensure website security. We process the Data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR.  We are not able to identify you from this data. The data will not be combined with data from other sources. We are uphold the right to review the data if it is required for the clarification of or as evidence for specific infringements which have emerged.

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, enabling the website to recognise your device when you return to the page in the future. Information contained in cookies is used to manage web sessions, as well as to balance loads on the server and for analytical purposes (Matomo cookies). It is also used to increase the security of our applications and to make them more adaptable and easier to use. This allows us to optimise the user friendliness of our website. No personal data is stored in the cookies used on our website.

You can disable cookies by changing the settings in your browser. Should you choose to block cookies, this will not affect your general ability to use our website.

 

MATOMO

The website uses Matomo, which enables a statistical analysis of website use to be conducted using cookies. To this end, usage information is sent; however, your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process. YOUTUBE

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. If you’re logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube allows you to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

YouTube is used to help make our website appealing. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

ONLINE LANGUAGE COURSES AND MEETINGS 

We use applications from other providers to conduct video and audio conferences, virtual language courses and online meetings. Zoom Video Communications, Inc.For online language courses, we use “zoom”, a service of the US provider Zoom Video Communications, Inc .. The legal basis for processing data via “zoom” is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. For “zoom”, SPIDI provides contractual services, particularly for participants in language courses. In addition to the implementation of the language courses, this also includes the postprocessing of participation data for the creation of participation certificates.The appropriate level of data protection at Zoom Video Communications, Inc. is guaranteed by the following measures:• Zoom Video Communications, Inc. is certified under the Privacy Shield (entry here).• SPIDI has signed a contract (DPA) with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. based on the EU standard contractual clauses.
